Have you ever come to a point in your life where you start to wonder what it is that you are really doing? For me, I’ve recently hit that point specifically concerning my future career and the path that I want to take. I truly believe that we don’t need to know everything all at once and that the Lord directs us day by day. The same friend who sent me the link below often tells me that The most important thing is that you have some direction and that you are moving towards it. When you lift your feet, the Lord can place them but You’ve got to start moving first. I’m narrowing my search for the next steps in my career path and this little TED talk below helped me to gain some new perspective.

I was sent the link to this video on Friday, but it seemed that every time I started to get into it I was distracted. Although, It’s probably a good thing that I didn’t watch it right away because I feel like the past couple of days have been good preparation. You might like it, you might not. You might watch it, you might not. All I’m sayin’ is that I learned something new. I ask myself the same question I ask you, What is your WHY for the direction you are going in?

“I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.”
-Oliver Wendell Holmes
